Pygeum, have been used to combat symptoms associated with BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia) or enlarged prostate.
Saw Palmetto is (Serenoa repens),
is a type of palm native to the southeastern United States and is
commonly used in supplements to improve prostate health, balance &
regulate hormone levels, (including Testosterone Levels) and prevent
hair loss in men.
In addition, it is associated with a variety of other benefits, including decreased inflammation and improved urinary function.
Pygeum is the name for extracts, teas, and supplements that come from the bark of a tree native to Africa called Prunus Africana.
Pygeum is most commonly used in the *treatment of symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate (BPH).
The chemicals contained in this bark have been scientifically proven
to help shrink the prostate in males with enlarged prostates; and may
improve kidney function, relieve urinary problems, such as poor urine
flow and night-time urination.
Both contain vital plant sterols and fatty acids of which may be an
effective inhibitor of 5 alpha-reductase making them beneficial for
promoting healthy prostate function, increased libido, increased semen volume, and rapid recovery after intercourse.
