On the cold hard streets of New York City in October of 1989 stood a man, his passion, a few milk crates and $138. After selling a few specialty items to passersby in the streets for almost 18 months, We got rid of the milk crates and opened several store fronts in the popular Greenwich Village, Lower Manhattan shopping district.
